Shujuan Li, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of Landscape Architecture and Planning, College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. Before Joining the University of Arizona, Li worked in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at Utah State University for eight years. She graduated with a Ph.D. degree in geography from Texas A&M University in 2009. She received a master’s degree in ecology from Peking University and a bachelor’s degree in geography from Beijing Normal University in China.  Her research interests include the integration of spatial analysis and modeling with GIS for urban and environmental studies, geodesign, big geospatial data analytics, and public participation GIS.
