Dr. Guo is a computational geoscientist interested in the physics of fluid flow and transport in permeable earth materials. His research focuses on advancing the fundamental understanding of porous media flow and developing computational models to address practical problems in subsurface energy and environmental systems including shale gas/oil production, geological CO₂ storage, and contaminant transport in soil and groundwater.
